Doshas Cancellation – Cancellation of Doshas in Match Making

1. Varna Dosha Cancellation (1 Point)

- The Navamsha ascendant lords of both partners are either the same or friendly.

2. Vashya Dosha Cancellation (2 Points)
A Vashya mismatch also causes a slight dosha, which stands canceled if one or more of these conditions are met:
- The Moon sign lord of both partners is either the same or the lords are mutual friends.
- The Navamsha ascendant lords of both partners are either the same or friendly.
- The Yoni matches fully.
3. Tara Dosha Cancellation (3 Points)
For Tara, if there’s a mismatch, it results in a minor dosha that can be nullified by the following:
- The Moon sign lord of both partners is either the same or the lords are friends.
- The Navamsha ascendant lords of both partners are either the same or friendly.
4. Yoni Dosha Cancellation (4 Points)
Yoni mismatch can be significant, but it’s canceled if any of these conditions are met:
- The Moon sign lord of both partners is either the same or the lords are mutual friends.
- The Navamsha ascendant lords of both partners are either the same or friendly.
- There is no Bhakoot dosha.
- A score of at least 1 is achieved for the Vashya guna.
5. Graha Maitri Dosha Cancellation (5 Points)
Graha Maitri mismatch causes dosha, but it is nullified under the following conditions:
- The Navamsha ascendant lords of both partners are either the same or mutual friends.
- Both partners have different Rashis but share a common constellation.
- There is no Bhakoot dosha.
6. Gana Dosha Cancellation (6 Points)
Gana mismatch is a major dosha (Mahadosha), yet it can be canceled if:
- The count from the girl’s birth constellation to the boy’s is 14 or more.
- The Rashi lords of both partners are either the same or mutual friends.
- The Navamsha ascendant lords of both partners are either the same or friendly.
- There is no Bhakoot dosha.
- Both partners have the same Rashi but different constellations.
7. Bhakoot Dosha Cancellation (7 Points)
Bhakoot mismatch is also considered a Mahadosha. This dosha is canceled if:
- The Rashi lord and Navamsha ascendant lord of both partners are either the same or mutual friends.
- The Naadi guna matches.
8. Naadi Dosha Cancellation (8 Points)
Naadi mismatch is a Mahadosha, but it is nullified under these conditions:
- Both partners have the same Rashi but different constellations.
- Both partners share the same constellation but have different Rashis.
- Both have the same birth constellation but different Charans (parts).
- According to shastras, doshas are categorized on the basis of castes, i.e, Nadi dosha for Brahamana, Varna dosha for Kshatriya, Gana dosha for Vaishya and Yoni dosha for Shudra.
- According to Chintamani astrology, Nadi dosha is cancelled in the presence of Rohini, Mrigshira, Ardra, Jyeshtha, Kritika, Pushya, Shravan, Rewati and Uttarabhadrapad nakshatras
