The ancient sages divided the zodiac into 27 Nakshatras, or constellations, each covering 13.20 degrees, in addition to the twelve zodiac signs. A Nakshatra, also known as a lunar mansion, has roots in ancient Vedic texts. • Sthira (Fixed): Rohini, Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Ashadha, Uttara Bhadrapada – Favorable for stable, long-term activities like planting trees, purchasing property, or laying foundations. These are especially auspicious on Sundays.

• Chara (Movable): Punarvasu, Swati, Shravana, Dhanishtha, Shatabhisha – Favorable for travel, buying vehicles, and gardening. Most auspicious on Mondays.
