Very Special Cases: Kundli MATCHING
1. Ashtakoota Matching (Guna Milan)
The most popular method for Kundali matching is the Ashtakoota system, which matches the horoscopes based on eight key parameters (Kootas). These parameters are assigned specific points (Gunas), with a total of 36 points. The higher the score, the better the match. Here's a breakdown of the eight Kootas:
Varna Koota: This represents the spiritual compatibility and ego level between partners. It is scored out of 1 point.
Vashya Koota: Determines control or dominance between partners. It is scored out of 2 points.
Tara Koota: Assesses the health and well-being of the couple. It is scored out of 3 points.
Yoni Koota: Measures physical and sexual compatibility. It is scored out of 4 points.
Graha Maitri Koota: Evaluates the mental compatibility and understanding between partners. It is scored out of 5 points.
Gana Koota: Represents the temperament and behavior compatibility. It is scored out of 6 points.
Rashi Koota: Measures the emotional connection and the ability to relate with each other. It is scored out of 7 points.
Nadi Koota: Assesses the genetic compatibility for progeny and overall health. It is the most significant factor and is scored out of 8 points.

1. The
Placement of Navamsa Lagan of Boy in Girls Navamsa chart should be checked. It
should not be in 6,8, 12 and Afflicted by Malefic Planet. Similarly the
placement of Navamsa Lagna of Girl should be checked in Boys Navamsa Chart.
2. The Affliction or Malefic Planets placed in 2nd house,
4th house, 7th house and 8th house should be of equal amount. So the Malefic
influence can balance each other.
3. The
moon should placed favorable in 4/10, 1/7, 5/9 or 3/11. If the Moon sign
of one is the Lagna of another Horoscope, it is very good for marital bliss.(Moon’s
position and dignity shows our ability to be flexible and accommodate for
others in any relation. When Moon is afflicted in chart, it shows person’s
inability to adjust with others or take advice of others) .
4. The
ascendant of both the chart should be 4/10, 1/7, 5/9 or 3/11. If the Ascendant
is in 6/8 or 2/12 the nature of the bride and groom will not match.
5. The Ascendant Lord should be checked similarly. The ascendant Lord should not be posited in 2/12 or 6/8 condition.
6. Sun should not be placed in 7th house.
7. Venus is the
significator of the 7th house
and its strength or weakness affects the success or failure of a married life
to a great extent. If venus is ill placed in a chart then it may lead to
possiblity of infertility.
8. Ascendants of both charts – First of all
ascendant of charts of Boy and Girl should not be same and ascendant lords
should not be enemy to each other. The reason is that same ascendant means same
basic nature of couple.
9. Darakaraka – Here, I am leaving Darakaraka aside as everyone can have different planet as darakaraka but even its strength will indicate a lot about the kind of relation one can have.
10.6th house and 12th house – Whenever a person has too many planets in 6th house or 12th house then relationship can be tough for him. So, there is no point in matching his chart with someone else and make them suffer in marriage.
11. Boy nakshtra Should be
before of girl nakshtra.
